On this nineteenth day of November in the year of our
Lord, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two before
me the subscriber a notary public in and for said
county duly commissioned by and under the laws of the
state of New York, to take acknowledgements and proof of
deeds and other instruments of writing to be used or recorded
in said county, personally appeared Helen I. Curtis and
Thomas T. Curtis, to me known to be the individuals
described in, and who executed the within conveyance, who
severally acknowledged that they executed the same, as their
free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
And the said Helen I. Curtis the wife of the said Thomas
T. Curtis on a private examination by me, separate and
apart from her said husband did acknowledge, that the
said deed of conveyance, was made freely and voluntarily
and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension
or fear of, or from her said husband.
