York, personally appeared Thomas T. Curtis and Helen I.
Curtis wife of said Thomas T. Curtis, to me known to be the
same person who executed the within and annexed deed by them
sealed and subscribed, and the said Helen I. Curtis, being pri-
vately examined separate and apart from her husband ack-
nowledged the execution thereof to be her free act and deed for
the uses and purposes therein set forth and     mentioned and
that the said deed and the said acknowledgement have been
freely and voluntarily made, without any constraint, compul-
sion, apprehension or fear of, or from her husband the said
Thomas T. Curtis.

State of Florida }
County of Alachua}  This Indenture made this the nineteenth
day of April in the year of our Lord, eighteen hundred and
seventy-three, between James W. Harrison of the state of South
Caolina, the party of the first part and J.T. Walls of the
state of Florida; and Alachua County of the second part.
 Witnesseth,
           That for and in consideration of the sum of 
Fifty-six hundred and twenty dollars, paid and secured to
be paid by said J.T. Walls, party of the second part, to the par-
ty of the first part, the said party of the first part, hath bar-
gained, sold, aliened and conveyed, and by these presents, doth
sell and confirm unto the said J.T. Walls his heirs, party
of the second part, all that certain Plantation, tract or parcel
of land situate in Alachua County, in the state of Florida, con-
taining in the whole eleven-hundred and seventy-five acres,
more or less, described and comprised as follows: viz:-
one thousand acres described and set forth in a deed of
said land made by John H. McIntosh Clinch as Executor
of the last will and testament of Duncan L. Clinch dec'd.
