eight hundred seventy four between Jonathan W. Childs
       and Francis E. his wife of the City of Washington D.C.
       of the first part, and Mrs. Ella Palmer of the same
       place of the second part: Witnesseth, that the said
                        first 
       parties of the second part, for and in consideration
       of the sum of Eleven Thousand ($11,000) Dollars, to them
       in hand well and truly paid by the said party of the
       second part, at and before the sealing and delivery of
       these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
       have granted, bargained, sold, released, conveyed and con-
       firmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell,
       release, convey and confirm unto the said Party of the
       second part, his      and assigns, forever all those
       certain peices or parcels of Land Situate and being in the
       County of Alachua and State of Florida Known and described
       as follows to wit:---- Section Thirty six (36) in
       Township Number Nine (9) and Sections One (1) Two (2)
       twenty six (26) thirty five (35) and Thirty six (36)
       in township number ten (10) Range Eighteen (18)
       South and East, containing three thousand Eight Hundred
       and forty acres (3840). Also the South half of Lot One (1)
       Block three (3), Range Seven in the town of Gainesville
       according to the plat of the Survey of 1866.______
       Together with all and singular the rights, easements, ways,
       members, and appurtenances, to the said Ella Palmer of
       land, being, belonging or in any wise appertaining, and
       the remainders, reversions, rents, issues and profits thereof
       and every part thereof:
         To Have and to Hold the said Lands and premises of land
       and all and Singular the premises and appurtenances there-
       unto belonging as aforesaid, and every part thereof,
       unto the said party of the second part an assigns forever.
       And the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and
       and the said peices or parcels of land and premises aforesaid
       and every part thereof unto the said party of the Second
       part, her heirs and assigns, against them the said parties
       of the first part and their heirs and all and every other
       and persons whomsoever shall and will warrant and forever
       defend by these presents.  In Witness Whereof, the said parties
       of the first part have hereunto set their hands & seals the day & year first above written
