   Be it remembered that on this Twenty Second (22nd) day
of June A.D. 1874, personally appeared before me a 
commissioner duly appointed and authorized by the Exec-
utive authority of Florida under the laws of the said State
to take within the District of Columbia, proof and ac-
knowledgement of Deeds, &c, to be used and recorded in said
State,- Jonathan W. Childs & Frances E. his wife, to me known
to be the persons who executed the foregoing and annexed
deed by them sealed and subscribed: and the said
Jonathan W. Childs, acknowledged the same to be his free
act and deed, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned
and the said Francis E. Childs wife of J said
Jonathan W. Childs being privately Examined by me,
separate and apart from her husband acknowledged
the execution thereof to be her free act and deed for
the uses and purposes therein mentioned and set
forth, and that the said deed, and the said ac-
knowledgement have been freely and voluntarily made,
without any constraint, compulsions, apprehension, of fear
of, or from her said husband, the said Jonathan W. Childs,

State of Florida } This indenture made and entered into
County of Alachua} this first day of May A.D. 1873: between
W.K. Cessna of Said County and State party of the
first part; and Stephen McCall, as Trustee for Cor-
nelia E. Kennedy of the same place of the second part:
Witnesseth: --  That the said William K. Cessna
party of the second first part for and in consideration of
five hundred dollars ~$500~ to him in hand paid
by the said Stephen McCall as Trustee as aforesaid
party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby
