convey unto him the said Arthur Miles the fol-
   described
fowing^tracts or parcel of land, to wit: All that certain
peice, parcel or tract of Land Situated lying and being
in the County of Alachua and State of Florida,
Known and described as the South East quarter of the
South West quarter of Section Twenty Seven (27), Town-
Ship Nine (9) Range Eighteen (18), containing Forty
(40) Acres, more or less. To have and to hold the
same to him the said Arthur Miles his heirs, exec-
utors administrators and assigns in fee simple for-
ever, together with the tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in
any wise appertaining - 
    In witness whereof, we have hereunto set our
hands and affixed our seals this the 26th day of Jan-
uary, A.D. 1875

State of Florida} Before me personally came Elizabeth Bevill,
Alachua County  } wife of John R. Bevill, who being duly questioned
and examined by me separate and apart from her
said Husband, acknowledged under her hand and
seal before me that she signed the foregoing Deed
of Conveyance for the purpose of releasing and relinquishing
her right of Dower in the lands therein described, and
that she did the same freely and voluntarily, and without
any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear
of or from her said husband.

Alachua County  } says that he saw John R. Bevill & Elizabeth Bevill his wife sign,
seal & deliver the foregoing instrument of writing for the uses & purposes therein
contained and expressed and that he together with Francis Simms signed the
same as Subscribing witnesses thereto.
