State of Florida} Know all men by these presents that we James
Alachua County  } M. Sparkman and Sinah Sparkman his wife
       for and in consideration of Nine hundred and fifty Dollars
       to James M. Sparkman in hand paid have bargained sold
       and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell
       and convey unto Sarah R. Barnes wife of Louis A. Barnes
       of Alachua County Fla all that certain peice or parcel
       of Land known as Blocks six & seven in Range six,
       and Blocks six & seven in Range Seven as per map of
       the Town of Gainesville, situate in said Town, and County
       of Alachua, and State of Florida, and containing four
       acres more or less, with all the rights, improvements and
       appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise apper=
       taining --- To Have and To Hold the same to the proper use
       benefit & behoof to the said Sarah R. Barnes her heirs, Executors
       administrators and assigns. --- And we hereby warrant
       and defend the before mentioned described premises unto
       the said Sarah R. Barnes her heirs, executors, administrators
       and assigns against ourselves, our heirs, executors, admin-
       istrators & assigns, and against all other persons whomso-
       ever lawfully claiming or to claim the same.
                               In Witness whereof we hereunto set
our hands & seals this the Eleventh day of March A.D. 1875

State of Florida} Before me                personally came
Alachua County  } Sinah Sparkman to me well known, and who is
       the wife of James M. Sparkman, who upon an examination
       made separate and apart from her said husband did
       acknowledge that she joined in the execution and delivery
       of the foregoing deed of her own free will and accord, &
       without any fear, apprehension or compulsion of or from
       her said husband for the purpose of releasing and re-
       linquishing all her right or claim to Dower into or
       out of the said Lands above described
