  Richland County          }  Know all men by these
presents, that I, Mary J. Harrison wife of James W. Harri-
son, the grantor in the above deed and for the consideration
therein expressed, and for the sum of ten dollars, the re
ceipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby relinquish
and forever renounce, all my interest, right and title of
dower, that I may have now, or hereafter may acquire
in the above granted land and premises unto the said
grantee, his heirs and assigns.
             In testimony whereof witness my hand and
seal, this the twenty-second day of April A.D. 1873.

Harrison, wife of James W. Harrison, the grantor in the
above deed, who being first separately examined apart
from her said husband, acknowledged that she executed
the above release of Dower, freely and voluntarily, and
without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear
of or from her said husband.  Taken and acknowledged be-
fore me. In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my
hand and seal this twenty-second day of April A.D. 1873,
in the city of Columbia, in the state and county aforesaid.
