Alachua County   } This Indenture made this first day
of March AD 1875 between Louis A. Barnes Sheriff of the
first part and W.W. Scott of the County of Alachua State
of Florida of the second part Witnesseth that whereas
by virtue of a certain writ of Fieri facias issued out of the
Circuit Court of the said County and to him the said Sheriff
directed he was commanded that of the goods and
chattels lands & tenements of Leonard Varnadore and
Elizabeth Varnadore he cause to be made the sum
of Four hundred and twenty three 92/100 Dollars
with interest therein and costs of suit thirteen & 59/100
Dollars which W.W. Scott lately on the 13th day of
January AD 1875 recovered in our Circuit Court against
Leonard Varnadore and Elizabeth Varnadore and
whereas Louis A. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue
of said writ did on the 21st day of January AD 1875
levy upon and seize the property hereinafter described
& did by virtue of said writ & pursuant to the statutes
in such cases made & provided duly advertise the
said property for sale on the first day of March AD 1875
& did on that day sell the same at public auction ac-
cording to law to W.W. Scott for the sum of Two
hundred & seventy five Dollars being the highest bid
for the same: --- Now therefore know ye that I
Louis A. Barnes as sheriff as aforesaid by virtue
of said writ and of the Statutes in such cases made &
provided and in consideration of said sum of Two hun-
dred & seventy five Dollars to me in hand paid by the
said W.W. Scott have granted bargained & sold & by these
presents do grant bargain & sell unto the said W.W. Scott
his heirs and assigns forever all the following property to wit: -
The East half of NW 1/4 and N 1/2 of SW 1/4 of S 18 T R 19 and
NW 1/4 of NE 1/4 & NE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of S 19 T R 19 and SE 1/4 of SW 1/4
of S 18 T 7 R 19 and N 1/2 of NW 1/4 and SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Sec 18 T 7
R 19 and SE 1/4 of S 18 T 7 R 19 containing five hundred and sixty
(560) acres more or less together with all the right title interest or
equities which the said Leonard Varnadore and Elizabeth
Varnadore had of in or to the same = To have and to hold
as fully as I the said Louis A. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid
might could or ought to sell and convey the same
