This Indenture made the twenty third day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
seventy five between Henry G. Marquand of the City,
County and State of New York party of the first part
and John T. Metcalf of the City of New York, party
of the second part. Witnesseth that the said party of
the first part in consideration of the sum of Two Hun-
dred and forty ($240) Dollars to him duly paid before
the delivery hereof hath bargained and sold and by these
presents doth grant and convey unto the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns forever All that cer-
tain piece parcel or tract of land in the Arrodondo
Grant situated in Alachua County in the State of
Florida known as the South East quarter of section
Thirty (30) Township ten (10) Range nineteen (19) East
containing one Hundred and sixty acres be the same
more or less - The Dower of the wife of the Said Henry G.
Marquand in the aforesaid Lot being released by a 
general release made to A.G. Roberts and others in
interest by an instrument dated 26th March 1855
and recorded in the County Clerk's Office of Alachua
County in 3rd Book page 121, April 26th 1855
With the appurtenances and all the Estate right title and
interest of the said parties of the first part their heirs therein
and the said party of the first part doth hereby covenant
& agree to & with the said party of the second part that
