This Indenture made the fourteenth day of April in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
seventy five Between Frederick Marquant of the City
County and State of New York party of the first part
and Henry S. Sanford of Jacksonville Florida party of the
Second part. Witnesseth That the said party of the first
part in consideration of the sum of one hundred
and Sixty dollars to him duly paid before the delivery
hereof hath bargained and sold and by these present
doth grant and convey to the Said party of the Second
part his heirs and assigns forever All that certain
lot or parcel of ground in the County of Alachua
and in the State of Florida being a part of the arredon
Arredondondo Grant in said county Known as the
north half of Section Thirty (30) in Township Eleven
(11) and Range nineteen (19). containing three hun-
-dred and twenty acres (320) be the same more or less
with the appurtenances and all the estate right
title and interest of the said party of the first part 
therein. And the said party of the first part doth
hereby covenant and agree to and with the said party
of the second part that at the time of the delivery
hereof the said party of the first part is the lawful 
owner of the premises above granted and signed
thereof in fee Simple absolute and that he will
warrant and Defend the above granted premises
in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever. In Witness whereof Whereof the Said party 
of the first part hath hereunto set his hand

22nd day of April AD 1875 before me Charles Edgar Mills a
commissioner of the State of Florida in New York residing
in said City of New York personally appeared Frederick
Marquant to me known to be the person described in and
who executed the foregoing instrument and acknowleldged
edged the execution thereof to be his free act and deed
