State of Florida }
County of Alachua} This indenture made this Third day of May
AD 1875 between Louis A. Barnes Sheriff of Said County of the first
part and Tison S. Gordon of the City of Savannah Chatham County
Georgia of the second part. Witnesseth That whereas by virtue of
a writ Firi Facias issued out of the Circuit Court for Said County
and to him the Said Sheriff directed he was commanded That
of the goods and chattels lands and tenements of E.L. King
he caused to be made the sum of Twenty two hundred & sixty
seven 21/100 Dollars with interest thereon together with costs
of Suit which one hundred & sixty Dollars lately on the 24
day of Nov AD 1874 recovered in our Circuit Court against
E.L. King and Whereas I Lewis A. Barnes as Sheriff as
aforesaid by virtue of Said writ did on the 1st day of January
AD 1875 levey upon and Seize the property hereafter discribed
and did by virtue of Said writ and pursuant to the Stat
utes in Such case made and provided duly advertised the
Said property for Sale on the 3rd day of May 1875 and
did on that day Sell the same at public auction according
to law to Tison S. Gordon for the sum of one hundred Dollars
being the highest sum bid for the same.
Now therefore Know ye that I the Said Louis A. Barnes
as Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of the Said writ and of
the Statutes in Such cases made and provided for and
in consideration of Said Sum of one hundred Dollars
to me in hand paid by the Said Tison S. Gordon party of 
the second part have granted bargained and sold
and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto
the said Tison S. Gordon partys of the seocnd part his
heirs and assigns forever all the following property to
wit= All of Section (22) Twenty two(7) Seven Township (10)
Range (22) Twenty two in Arredondo Grant together with
the rights titles interest and equities which the 
E.L. King had of in or to the same  To have and to
hold as fully as I the said Lewis A. Barnes as Sheriff
as aforesaid might could or ought to sell and
convey the same Given under my hand and Seal
this 3rd day of May AD 1875
