This Indenture made this Sixth day of May AD 1875
between Thomas Conant Marshal of the of the United
States for the Northern Dist of Florida of the first
part and George W. Witte and Armin Witte Known as
the firm of Witte Bro of the second part
Whereas by virtue of a certain execution issued out
and under the seal of the Circuit Court of the United
States for the Northern District of Florida tested this

12th day of January AD 1875 at the suit of Witte Brothers
Plaintiffs against Samuel H. Owens defendants directed
to the Said Marshal commanding him that of the goods
and Chattels lands and tenaments of Said defendant
he caused to be made certain monies in Said execution
Specified the Said Marshal did levey and seize
all the real estate right title and interest which said
Defendants had of in and to the property hereafter
described and on the 1st Monday of March AD 1875
(being the first day of the month and a legal sale
day) Sold the Said property at public outcry
in front of the Court House door in the City
of Gainesville in the County of Alachua within
the Said Northern District of Florida having first
given public notice of the time and place of
Such Sale by advertising Said property for Sale in
in manner and form as required by the Statutes in
Such case made and provided in the "Citizen" an offi
cial news paper published in said City of Gainesville
within the northern District of Florida and that such
sale the Said property was struck off to the
Said partys of the Second partys of the second
part for the sum of Two Hundred Five Dollars |
