State of Florida } Whereas I R.F. Taylor was by an order of
Alachua County } the Probate Court for Alachua County
Florida duly made and received on the first day of April
AD 1875 appointed nominated and authorized a Commis
-sioner and as Such Commissioner authorized empower
-ered and instructed to make a Sale of the lands
hereafter discribed belonging to the land hereinafter
discribed belonging to the Estate of James B. Bailey decd
for the payment of the debts of Said Estate of James B.
Bailey decd And whereas I did as such commissioner
duly advertised the lands as hereafter discribed for
sale agreeable to Said order of Court, on the Third day
of May AD 1875 sell the same before the Court House
door in The Town of Gainesville during the legal
hours of sale at public outcry to the highest bidder
according to law And whereas at said Sale H.P.
Langley became the purchaser of the lands as here
=after particularly discribed for the sum of sixty five
dollars that being the highest sum bid for the same
at Said Sale and he being the bidder thereof
And whereas Said Sale has been approved of ratifyed
and confirmed by an order of Said Probate court
this day made and I as said Commissioner au
authorized and required to execute deeds to the
purchasers at said sale Now therefore Know all
men by these presents that I R.F. Tyalor as such
Commissioner as aforesaid under and by virtue
of Said orders of Court and the Sale thereunder
made for and in consideration of the Said
Sum of Sixty five dollars to me as such
Commissioner paid by Said H.P. Langley have
granted bargained Sold and conveyed and
by these presents do grant bargain sell and
convey unto him the said H.P. Langley all that
certain fractional part or portion of the south
half of Section Five (5) Township Ten (10) South
Range Twenty (20) East lying and situated south
west of the Town of Gainesville in Alachua |
