State of Florida } Whereas I R.F. Taylor was by an order of
Alachua County } the Probate Court for Alachua County made
April
and rendered on the First day of April May AD 1875 duly
appointed and authorized to make conduct and carry
out a sale as Commissioner of the lands hereafter par
=ticularly discribed belonging to the Estate of James B.
Bailey decd for the payment of the debts of said Estate
and whereas by virtue of Said order appointed me
Commissioner as aforesaid to conduct and make the
Sale aforesaid to conduct and make the Sale aforesaid
aforesaid I did duly advertise the said lands for sale
on the 3rd day of May AD 1875 according to law and
did on Said 3rd day of May AD 1875 as such Commis
-sioner sell the Same at public out cry before the
Court House door in the Town of Gainesville
according to law And whereas at said Sale
F.X. Miller became the purchaser of the particular
tract as hereafter described at the aggrate sum of
Ninety five dollars that being the highest sum
bid for the same and he being the bidder there
-of and whereas by an order of the Probate Court
for Alachua County this day made the said Sale
was ratifyed by the court and I the said R.F. Taylor
as such Commissioner as aforesaid authorized
and instructed to execute deeds in conforming
to Said Sale = Now therefore Know all men by
these presents that I the Said R.F. Taylor as Such
Commissioner as aforesaid for and in consid
eration of the said Sum of Ninety five dollars
to me in hand paid by the said F.X. Miller
have granted bargained sold and conveyed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell and
covey unto him the said F.X. Miller the
following discribed lands belonging to
the Estate of James B. Bailey decd and sold as
aforesaid to pay debts of Said Estate to wit = all
that certain fractional part or portion of the
South half of Section Five (5) Township Ten (10)
South Range Twenty (20) East lying South west
of the Town of Gainesville in Alachua County
Florida comencing at the South West corner of
the Lot in said Town of Gainesville now
owned by Mrs A.E. Taylor thence west Thee hun |
