for the use and purposes as there in contained and expressed

State of Florida } This Indenture made & entered into this 23rd
Alachua County   } day of January AD Eighteen Hundred and
Seventy five between W.W. Scott as Trustee for Martha Hague and
her children of the first part and Samuel L. Burnett of the
Same State & County of the Second part.
   Witnesseth that the Said W. Wash Scott trustee as aforesaid party
of the first part for and in consideration of Two Hundred
and Fifty Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged does hereby grant bargain sell and con
vey unto Samuel L. Burnett the party of the Second part all
that certain parcel of land lying and being Situated in
the Town of Gainesville Alachua County Fla and Known and
designated as follows to Wit= The South half of the lot whereon
A.T. Banks resided begining on the Street leading from the
Depot to Gainesville, runing east from said Street two hundred
     feet
& ten^(210) then North one hundred and five feet (105) thence
west 210 feet thence South one hundred and five feet
(105) to the place of begining containing one half acre together
with all and singular the tenements & appurtenances thereto
belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the
said described property to Samuel L. Burnett the said party
of the second part his heirs executors & Administrators forever
in fee simple And I the Said W. Wash Scott do hereby warrant
and defend the title to the said party against the lawful
claims of all persons Given under my hand & seal as
Trustee as aforesaid this the day & year above written
