To all whom these presents shall come - Greeting; - 
   Whereas at a sale of Lands by J.W. Childs Collector
of Revenue of the County of Alachua at Gainesville in
said County of Alachua at public auction on the 7th
day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy three for the non payment of Taxes
levied and assessed thereon for the year one thousand Eight
hundred and seventy one and which remained unpaid
on the day of such sale together with the costs and
charges due thereunto the following described Lots
viz; - Lots one (1)(2) two three (3) four (4) five (5) six (6)
seven (7) and Eight (8) in Block five (5) Range one (1) in
the Town of Newnansville in Alachua County assessed
as the property of owner or unknown sold to Mrs.
E.A. Belton who was the best bidder therefore for the
sum of Ten Dollars and Twenty cents which sum was the
whole amount of Taxes due and unpaid in the Lots of land
aforesaid for the year aforesaid together with the interest
and costs due thereon and the charges of said sale and
has been paid by the said Mrs. E.A. Belton to the
said J.W. Childs Collector of Revnue aforesaid - 
   Now thereof know all men by these presents that the
State of Florida in consideration of the sum of money aforesaid
and the premises and in conformity with law hath and
doth hereby give grant and convey the Lots of land
above described together with the hereditaments and appurtenances
unto the said E.A. Belton and her assigns to their sole
use and behoof forever - 
      In testimony whereof I, W.H. Belton County Clerk of the
( S ) County of Alachua have executed this deed pursuant to
( E ) and in virtue of the authority invested by law and for
( A ) and on behalf of said State and have hereunto subscribed my
( L ) name officially and affixed the seal of the County Court
      of the County of Alachua at Gainesville in said County of
      Alachua this 11th day of July in the year of our Lord
      one Thousand Eight hundred and seventy four
