State of Florida} Whereas I R.F. Taylor was by an order
Alachua County } of the Probate Court for Alachua County
Florida made and rendered on the 1st day of April AD
1875 duly nominated authorized and appointed a Com
missioner for the purpose of conveying on and make
ing a sale of the lands as hereafter discribed to
belonging to the estate of James B. Bailey deceased
for the payment of the debts of said Estate and
where as I did as Such Commissioner duly adver
-tise the said land as hereafter discribed for
sale pursuant to said order of Court on Monday
the 3rd day of May AD 1875 and did on Said 3rd day
of May AD 1875 Sell the Same at public outcry before the
Court House door in the Town of Gainesville Florida
during the legal hours of Sale according to law and
whereas at said Sale G.S. Voyle became the purchaser of
the lands as hereafter discribed for the Sum of
Twenty one 50/100 Dollars that being the highest Sum
bid for the same at said sale and She being the bid-
-der there of ratifyed and confirmed by an order
of Said Probate court on this day made and I the
Said R.F. Taylor as such Commissioner as aforesaid
thereby authorized and required to execute deeds
of conveyance to the purchasers at Said Sale
Now therefore Know all men by these presents that
I R.F. Taylor as such Commissioner as aforesaid
acting under and by virtue of Said orders of court
for and in consideration of Twenty one 50/100 dollars
so bid as aforesaid at Said Sale by the said G.S. Voyle
have granted bagrained sold and conveyed and
by these presents do grant bargain sell and con
-vey unto her the Said G.S. Voyle all that certain
fractional part or portion of the south half of section
South
Five (5) Township Ten (10)^Range Twenty (20) East South
West of the Town of Gainesville in Alachua County
Florida lying between Mrs Harper Bevill's lots on
the East and North and the Atlantic Gulf and West
India Transit Company's Rail Road on the South
and a Street running North and South along the
Eastern boundary of the lot now Known as the Can
non Lot Said Strip of land being bounded on the East
and North by the Said Mrs H. Bevill's lots on the
South by said Rail Road and on the West by Said Street |
