Alachua County  }  ~~~~Sheriff's Deed~~~~
        Whereas by virtue of an execution issued out of the
Circuit Court of Alachua County, Florida, in favor of Ann Beatie against
James Beatie, to me directed, I was commanded as Sheriff of Alachua
County, Florida to satisfy the same out of the property in my said
County, belonging to said James Beattie, and whereas by virtue of
said execution, I did on the 8th day of March A.D. 1873 levy upon the
property hereinafter to be described the same being the property of
said James Beattie, and under and by virtue of said execution and
the said levy thereunder made did advertise the said property for
sale on the seventh day of April A.D. 1873 according to law, and
did on the said 7th day of April A.D. 1873 and sell the same at
public outcry, before the court-house door in the town of
Gainesville, Florida, according to law to George F.K. Beattie for
the sum of two hundred dollars, that being the highest sum bid
for the same, and he being the bidder thereof.
        Now, Know all men by these presents that I, Louis
A. Barnes, Sheriff of the county of Alachua, in the state of
Florida, under and by virtue of said execution to me directed and
under and by virtue of said levy and sale thereunder made for
and in consideration of the sum of Two-hundred dollars, to me
in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have grant
ed, bargained, sold and conveyed; and by these presents do grant, bargain
sell and convey unto the said George F.K. Beattie the following described
property, levied upon under and by virtue of said execution, and sold
as aforesaid at public outcry as the property of said James Beattie
to satisfy said execution to wit:- all that certain tracts or parcels of
land lying and being in the county of Alachua and state of Florida,
described as lots one ~1~ and two ~2~ South-one half of lot three
~8~ eight and North half of lot twelve ~12~, of section nineteen ~19~
Township eight south ~T.8S~ Range twenty, east ~R.20.E.~ containing
two hundred and eighty acres, more or less, also in said county and
state Lots, one, two, three, four and five ~1.2.3.4 & 5.~; seven and
