State of Florida} This Indenture mad and entered into this
Alachua County  } the first day of March AD 1875 between Lewis
A. Barnes Sheriff of Alachua County party of the first part and
Mary A.P. Sanchez of the County of St. Johns and State aforesaid
of the Second part Witnesseth That whereas by virtue of a writ
of Fera Facias issued out of the Circuit Court of said County
and to him directed he was commanded that of the goods
and Chattels Lands and Tenements of William B. Lewis
he caused to be made the Sum of one thousand Eight hundred
and one 91/100 Dollars together with the costs Suit nine
and 50/100 Dollars which James P. Sanchez lately on the 26th
day of February AD 1872 recovered in our Circuit Court against
William B. Lewis and whereas I Lewis A. Barnes as Sheriff
aforesaid by virtue of Said writ did on the 15th day of January
AD 1875 levey upon the property herein discribed and did
by virtue of Said write and pursuant to the Statutes in such
cases made and provided duly advertise the said property
for Sale on the first day of March AD 1875 and did on that
day sell the same at public auction according to Law to Mary
A.P. Sanchez for the sum of one hundred Dollars being the highest
Sum bid for the Same Now therefore Know ye that I the Said
Louis A. Barnes Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of Said writ and
the Statutes in such cases made and provided for and in
consideration of Said Sum of one hundred Dollars to me in
hand paid by the Said Mary A.P. Sanchez party of the Second
party have granted bargained and Sold and by these presents
do grant bargain and sell unto the Said Mary A.P. Sanchez
party of the Second part her heirs and assigns forever all of
the following property to Wit= all of Section (16) Sixteen in
Township (9) nine South of Range (22) twenty two East except the
South west quarter of the South west quarter containing
(600) six hundred acres more or less together with all
the right title interest and equities which the Said
William B. Lewis had of in or to the same to have and to
hold as fully as I the Said Lewis A. Barnes Sheriff as afore
-said might and could or ought to sell and convey the same
