Alachua County  } This Indenture made this Thirteenth day of January A.D. 1874
     Between Stephen McCall & his wife Priscilla McCall parties of the
     first part & John B. Brooks party of the second part all of the
     State and County aforesaid   Witnesseth that the said parties of
     the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Six Hundred
     Dollars paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these
     presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bar-
     gained sold and conveyed and by these presents doth bar-
     gain sell and convey unto the said party of the second part,
     all that Lot or parcel of Land Situate Lying and being in the 
     Town of Gainesville in Said State and County containing
     one acre more or less, and distinguished in the plan of said
     Town as Block (6) six, Range (1) one. To Have and to Hold
     said described Lot or parcel of Land with all the appur-
     tenances forever in fee simple to the said party of the second
     part his heirs and assigns: and the said parties of the
     first part do hereby forever warrant and defend the same
     and the right & title thereto against the claims of all persons whatever
