State of Florida } Know all men by these presents
County of Alachua} that this Indenture made on
this 29th day of September AD one thousand eight hundred
and seventy five between Wm E. Ennis of the aforesaid State
& County party of the first part and Allen Goolsby of the
aforesaid State & County party of the second part Witnesseth
that the said Wm E. Ennis for and in consideration of
the sum of three hundred Dollars lawful money of
the Unites States Currency to him in hand paid by
the said Allen Goolsby party of the second part the re-
ceipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has bargained
sold & conveyed by these presents unto the said Allen
Goolsby all his right title and interest in a certain
tract or piece of land lying situate in Alachua County
& State of Florida & better known as Lot three in
         Eight (8)
Section Eighteen Township Fifteen Range
twenty containing Eighty acres more or less together with
all the improvements or appurtenances thereunto or in
any wise appertaining to have & to hold unto him
the said Allen Goolsby his heirs & assigns forever-
And the said Wm E. Ennis for himself his
heirs executors or administrators will forever warrant and
defend these titles to the said Allen Goolsby his heirs
executors or assigns  - In witness whereof the said Wm
E. Ennis  has hereunto set his hand & seal on this the day & year
first above written in presence of

State of Florida } Before me personally appeared Mrs.
Alachua County   } Amanda Ennis, wife of Wm E. Ennis,
who being duly questioned & examined by me separate and
apart from her said husband acknowledged that she signed
the foregoing deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing
and relinquishing her right of Dower in said Deed conveyed 
and that she did the same freely & voluntarily and without any
compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from her]said husband
