town of Gainesville in Alachua County State of
Florida and formerly known as the "McDonald Lot" on
which James D. Matheson resided on the 5th day of
February A.D. 1867 and there bounded on the north by
lands then belonging to W.J. McConnell on the South by
lands then belonging to J.R. Bevill on the East by Main
Street running North and South, through the said
Town of Gainesville and on the West by lands then
belonging to Thomas R. Kennedy, containing one acre
more or less, and being the same land conveyed
by S.F. Harvard & L.A. Harvard to said Elise M.
Haile by their deed dated February 5th A.D. 1867 and
recorded on the records of the Circuit Clerk of said
county, and being the same lands conveyed by James B.
Bailey to Susan J. McDonald, on the
first February AD 1861 and conveyed by the said
T.A. McDonald & S.J. McDonald to the said S.F.
Harvard, by their Deed, dated Jany 1st 1867, which
two deeds are also recorded upon said records -
Together with all the rights, tenements & hereditaments
appertaining in any wise to said lands - To Have
and to Hold the said lands, together with all its
appurtenances, unto the said party of the second
part, her heirs and assigns, the said parties of
the first part hereby warranting the title to the said
land to the said party of the second part her
heirs and assigns, In testimony whereof the
said parties of the first part have hereunto set
their hands and affixed their seals, this the 11th
Nov. A.D. 1875
