Alachua County } This Indenture made this
Nineteenth day of November, 1875, between James
Doig of the first part and William H. Robertson, of
the second part, both of said State and County.
Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hun
dred Dollars, to him in hand paid, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained
sold, conveyed and enfeoffed, and by these presents
doth bargain, sell convey and enfeoff unto the
said party of the second part, an undivided
one half interest in all that certain piece or parcel
of land, situate and being in said State and
County, and more fully described as follows:-
Beginning at the South East Corner of Section Four (4)
Township Ten (10) Range Twenty (20) East, and run-
ning due West on the Section line to a Branch
dividing this said land now under conveyance from
James H. Roper's land: thence North up the run of
said Branch to the North East Corner of said J.H.
Roper's land: thence West to Edmund Jones lot of
ten acres: thence North on said Jones' line Four
Hundred and Forty feet to William P. Scott's
lot; thence East Seventeen Feet to South West corner
of said Scott's lot thence North Two Hundred Feet to
the North East corner of said Scott's lot; thence West
on said Scott's line Eight Hundred and Seventy two
feet to the North West corner of said Scott's lot, thence
due North to the Section line, (leaving Forty Feet between
said Scott's lot, and also Forty Feet between S. McCall's,
C. Rain's and other lots contiguous thereto, for streets
dividing said lots from the said land now under
description) thence East on the Section line to the
North East corner of Section Four (4); thence South down
said Section line to the South West corner of said
Section Four (4) - the place of beginning - and con-
taining Three Hundred Acres, more or less, (Except the
following named parcels already disposed of by
D.G. Anderson to Samuel T. Finley and Julia Finley
three acres; Stephen McCall six acres; Isaac Davis
four acres; Stephen Clark; one acre; W. White one
acre; for metes and bounds of which reference is |
