fee simple of the aforegranted premises; that
they are free from all encumbrances; that I have
good right to sell and convey the same to
the said Lydia B. Peck, and that I and my
heirs executors and administrators will and
by these presents do warrant and defend the same
premises unto the said Lydia B. Peck, her heirs
and assigns forever against the lawful claims
and demands of all persons. - In witness whereof
I, the said George W. Sparkman, together with Susan
Sparkman, my Wife, who hereby relinquishes her
right of dower in the premises, have hereunto
set our hands this Seventeenth day of Novem
ber in the year of our Lord, Eighteen Hun-
dred and Seventy Five

and Susan A. Sparkman, his wife, and severally
acknowledged that they signed the foregoing Deed
for the purposes therein contained and the said
Susan A. Sparkman being examined separate
and apart from her said Husband, declares that
she signed the same freely voluntarily and without
fear or compulsion of her said Husband. - In tes-
timony whereof I have set my official hand and 
seal this 17th day of November, A.D. 1875
