Alachua County    }  Whereas Thos C. Ellis & David Harvard ad-
ministrators of the Estate of Stephen F. Harvard decd by virtue
of authority & Decree of the Judge of the Circuit Court of Alachua
County, made, Executed and delivered to Stephen McCall James
B. Dawkins & James T. McMillan Trustees of the Baptist Church
at Gainesville Fla. on the      day of      A.D. 1875 for the Lot
known as                Situate in Gainesville Fla. upon which a
Baptist Church has been since erected. And whereas a deed
was made & delivered on the 15th day of May A.D. 1868 by Giles
N. Ellis to        Bleoch  Deacon of the Baptist Church & his
Successors of two acres of ground & building in the S.E. Corner of
Sec 31 T9 R19 to be used as a Baptist Church Known as Fort
Clark Church and the said place & buildings at Fort Clark Church
having fallen into disuse & not used as a place of worship by its
former members or their successors and a number of the former
members of said Fort Clark Church having attached themselves
& their membership to the Baptist Church at Gainesville agreed
and consented to sell said Fort Clark Church and appropriate
the proceeds thereof to erecting & beatifying the Baptist Church
at Gainesville. Now Know all men by these presents that
in consideration of the premises & in further consideration
of the sum of one hundred & ninety Dollars to us in hand
paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, We, Stephen
