                         This Indenture made on this
Third day of August in the year one thousand eight
hundred and seventy five between John Simonton &
his wife Eleanor M. Simonton of the County and State
aforesaid of the first part and Matie S. Means and Mary
M. Simonton of the State of Florida of the second part
Witnesseth That for and in consideration of the sum
of one thousand Dollars to them in hand paid at
and before the sealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said
parties of the first part have given granted bargained
sold and conveyed and by these presents do give grant
bargain sell and convey to the said parties of the sec-
ond part the following described plantation or parcels
of land "To wit" Sections thirty five and thirty six
(35 & 36) of Township Eleven (11) and Range nineteen
(19) containing together twelve hundred and seventy
seven acres more or less and situate in the County of
Alachua & State of Florida, the same being a portion
of what is known as the Arredondo Grant.  To Have
and to Hold the above described and conveyed parcels of
land unto the said parties of the second their heirs executors
or Administrators and assigns in fee simple forever together
with all and singular the houses building improvements
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise
appertaining.  And the said parties of the first hereby
warrant the titles to the same against all persons claim-
ing or to claim by through or under them.
In testimony whereof the said parties of the first part have
hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals on the
day and the year first above written
