State of Florida }  This Indenture made and entered into the 8th day
County of Alachua}  of September A.D. 1875. Between John R. Zetrouer party
of the first part and Sallie J. Perry party of the second party.
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hun-
dred Dollars to the party of the first part in hand paid by the
said party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby acknowl
edged hath bargained and sold and doth hereby convey unto
the said party of the second part all that certain Lot or parcel
of land known as Lot Four (4) in Block Three (3) Range Two
(2) of the survey of the Town of Gainesville in the County of Alach-
ua and State of Florida with all and singular the rights improve-
ments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise ap-
pertaining.  To have and to hold the same to the only proper use bene
fit and behoof of the said party of the second part her heirs exec-
utors or assigns in fee simple forever and the said party of the first
part part hereby covenants and agrees with the said party of the
second part that he is seized and possessed of the above described
and granted premises and that he will warrant and defend the
title to the same against all claims or demands whatsoever in witness
whereof the said party of the first part hath hereunto set his hand
and affixed his seal

Alachua County  } Whereas I, Sherman Conant as United
States Marshal under and by virtue of a writ of Fieri Facias
issued out of the Circuit Court of the United States for the
Fifth Circuit and Northern District of Florida in a certain
cause wherein Hildreth and Talbot were Plaintiffs and
John T. Matthews was defendant did on the 26th day of July
A.D. 1875 levy upon the property hereinafter described as the prop
erty of said defendant John T. Mathews in said execution
and did duly advertise said property for sale according
to law on this 6th day of September A.D. 1875 and did on
this said 6th day of September A.D. 1875 sell the same at
public outcry before the Court House door in the town of Gainesville
Alachua County Florida pursuant to said advertisement of the
same and according to law. And whereas at the sale Wm
Edwards became the purchaser of said property as the same
