the highest sum bid at said sale and he being
bidder thereof.   Now, therefore, Know all men by these pres
ents that I the said Sherman Conant as said United States
Marshal for and in consideration of the said sum of Twenty
Dollars to me as such United States Marshal in hand paid
by the said William Edwards the receipt whereof I do hereby
acknowledge and under and by virtue of said writ of
Fieri Facias and the said levy and sale thereunder made
have granted, bargained, sold and conveyed: and by these
presents do grant, bargain sell and convey unto him the said
William Edwards all that certain Lot piece or parcel of land
with the buildings, tenements, and hereditaments to the same
belonging or appertaining.  Known, designated and described
as Block Four (4) Range Six (6) in the town of Gainesville
County of Alachua in the State of Florida the same being
the property levied upon under the execution aforesaid
and sold as aforesaid on this day as the property of the
defendant John T. Mathews in said execution and to satisfy
said execution.  To Have and to Hold the same to him the
said William Edwards his heirs executors, administrators and
assigns in fee simple forever as freely as I the said Marshal
under and by virtue of said writ of Fieri Facias levy and
seal might could or ought to sell and convey the same
