twenty five chains to the North East corner of said section and
thence south along the Eastern section line to the place of
beginning.  Also the certain town lot in Micanopy in the State
and County aforesaid known as the office lot of G.W. Means com
mencing on what is known as the public Square on a line with 
the front yard fence now standing on what is known as the
Stoughten Hotel Lot and running thence West one hundred
and forty seven feet and a half thence South one Hun-
dred and sixty nine feet and nine inches to what is known 
as the Newnansville Street thence East one fifty two (52 1/2)
and a half feet along said street thence North one
hundred and five feet thence East Ninety Five feet and
thence North sixty four feet and nine inches to the place
of beginning and containing in all one third of an acre
more or less.   And whereas the said party of the first
part did advertise in the Alachua Citizen a Newspaper
published & printed in Alachua County for thirty days next
                                                    herein 
preceding the date of these presents the said premise^above
described & set forth, And whereas at the sale of said prem
ises on the sixth day of December A.D. 1875 during the 
legal hours of sale before the Court House door the sum of 
one Hundred Dollars was bid by the said party of the second
part it being the highest bid therefor.  And whereas all costs
and charges have been paid by the said party of the second
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged.  Now then by
virtue of the authority vested in the said party of the first
part and for the foregoing consideration he has given granted
bargained sold & conveyed & by these presents does so give grant
bargain sell & convey unto the said party of the second part
the said real estate herein above described and set forth
To Have and to Hold the real estate herein above described
together with all and singular the house buildings improve-
ments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise
appertaining to the said party of the second part his heirs exec-
utors or administrators and assigns in fee simple forever.
In testimony whereof the said party of the first part as
sheriff aforesaid has hereunto set his hand and affixed
