which we now have or hold by, any and all means or conveyances
whatsoever of, in, or to the following described lands situated, lying
and being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida and
which is specifically and particularly known as described as the
South West quarter (1/4) of Section Twenty nine (29) Township
Nine (9) South of Range Twenty (20) East in the "Arredondo
Grant" containing Forty (40) acres of land more or less, together
with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and ap-
purtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining - 
To Have and to Hold the same to him the said James Thwaite
his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns in fee simple
forever= And I the said Thomas C. Ellis do hereby covenant
to and with the said James Thwaite that I will, and my 
heirs, executors, and administrators shall and will forever
warrant and defend him the said James Thwaite and his
heirs, executors, administrators and assigns against the lawful
claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever to the
property and every part thereof hereby conveyed.
In witness whereof we the said Thomas C. Ellis and Sarah
A. Ellis his wife have hereunto set our hands and affixed
our seals on this 19th day of November A.D. 1875

A. Ellis to me well known to be the person who executed the fore-
going deed of conveyance with her husband Thomas C. Ellis
     being   questioned and
and she^first duly^examined by me separate and apart from
her said husband, acknowledges before me that she executed and
signed her name to the said deed of conveyance for the sole pur
pose of releasing and relinquishing all her right of Dower in
the land or lands thereby and therein contained conveyed: and
that she did the same freely and voluntarily and without any
compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or from her
said husband
