all my right or claim of Dower unto the said James M.-
Sparkman, his heirs Executors and assigns in and to the
following described piece or parcel of land, situate in
said County and State. No one & two (1 & 2) and seven
and eight (7 & 8) of sec nine (9) Also Lots Eight (8)
nine (9), and Fourteen (14) of Sec four (4) Township
nine (9) Range 22 E. containing two hundred and
ninety four acres more or less -

came Mary E. Cheves, wife of William T. Cheves who
being examined by me separate and apart from her said

this relinquishment and renunciation of Dower in the above
described land is made freely and voluntarily and without
any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or
from her said husband.
