County of Alachua } Personally came before me Saml J. Kennard a 
Justice of the Peace in and for the County and State Sarah Thomas
wife of Samuel Thomas and being examined by me separate
and apart from her said husband acknowledged that she 
executed the foregoing deed with intent to renounce and relin-
quish and forever quit claim to her dower and right of dower
to all and singular the land and premises in the said deed
mentioned and that the said renunciation and relinquishment
was made freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion
constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said husband.
     In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and
affixed my seal this 20th day of December A.D. 1875

Alachua County   } Peace in and for said county Saml Thomas and
Sarah Thomas his wife who severally acknowledged they executed
the within deed for the purposes therein contained.

County of Alachua } Know all men by these presents that
I Everet Kinchen for and in consideration of the sum of 
Ten Dollars (1000) to me in hand paid by Frank Whittaker
my receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained
sold and released & conveyed by these presents do bargain sell
release and convey unto the said Frank Whitaker One acre
of land in the S.E. corner of the East half of the North 
East quarter of Section thirty (30) Township Nine (9) Range
twenty (20) South & East. To have and hold the above de-
scribed land to him and his executors administrators
and assigns forever.
          In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this the 6th day of February A.D. 1875
