that he saw Mary J. Brown and Jackson Brown her hus-
band sign seal and deliver the foregoing deed of conveyance
for the uses and purposes as therein contained and expressed and
that he together with R.F. Taylor signed the same as
subscribing witness thereto

Alachua County } WHereas I, L.A. Barnes Sheriff of
the aforesaid County and State under and by virtue of
a decree of Foreclosure of Mortgage rendered in the
circuit court of Alachua County 5th Judicial circuit
of Florida in favor of Witte Brothers and against J.C. Gardner
and to W. Little as Admrs of J.G. Little decd and S.J. Burnett
and M.M. Lewey did duly advertise the property hereinafter
described pursuant to law and pursuant to said decree of fore-
closure for sale on this Monday the 3rd day of January
A.D. 1876 to satisfy said decree of foreclosure - And whereas
I did on said 3rd day of January A.D. 1876 sell the same
at public outcry before the Court House door in the town
of Gainesville Alachua County Florida and whereas at said
sale John W. Turner the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge
and under and by virtue of said decree of foreclosure of mortgage
and pursuant to the statute in such cases made and provided
have granted bargained sold and convyeed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto him the
said John W. Turner the following described real estate sold
as aforesaid under said decree of foreclosure of mortgage
