          East half of Lot No 13 in the North West quarter of
          section five (5) Township ten (10) Range (20) being five acres
          less fifteen feet on each said for a street.
              To Have and to hold the same together with all and singu-
          lar the tenements hereditaments & appurtenances and all
          and singular the estate title and interest of the said party
          of the first part therein.  And the said party of the first
          part, doth grant hereby convenant with the said parties
          of the second part that he will warrant and defend
          the same against all persosns hereafter claiming or
          to claim the same.  In witness whereof I have here-
          unto set my hand and affixed my seal the day & date
          above written.

          Henry Elliot, Jane W. Elliot his wife, Edwin W. L'Engle
          and Eliza H. L'Engle his wife all of the aforesaid County
          and State for and in consideration of the sum of One thousand
($11.00)  One hundred dollars to us the said Henry Elliot and Edwin
          W. L'Engle, who own the land hereby conveyed, by deed made
          to us in our former firm name of Elliot and L'Engle cash
          in hand paid the receipt whereof is we do hereby acknowledge
          have granted, bargained sold and conveyed: and by these presents
          do grant, bargain sell and convey unto the Piedmont and
          Arlington Life Insurance Compaany a corporation duly
          incorporated and established under the statutes and Laws of
