  Alachua County  } Know all men by these presents that I, E.W.
  L'Engle of the aforesaid County and State for and in consideration
  of the sum of Nineteen Thousand seven hundred and twenty seven
  34/100 ($19727 34/100) dollars to me cash paid by the Piedmont and
  Arlington Life Insurance Company of the City of Richmond in
  the State of Virginia the receipt of which is hereby acknowl
  edged have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
  presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Pied
  mont and Arlington Life Insurance Company a corporation duly
  incorporated and established according to the statutes and laws of
  the Commonwealth of the State of Virginia all those certain
  sections or parcels of Land situate lying and being in the Coun
  ty of Alachua in the State of Florida within what is known
  as the Arredondo Grant and more particularly described as follows
  to wit: sections Twenty eight and twenty nine (28 & 29) in Town
  ship ten (10) South of Range twenty (20) East, Section thirty
  six (36) of Township Ten (10) South of Range Nineteen (19)
  East, Section one and twenty three (1 & 23) of Township eleven (11)
  South of Range nineteen (19) East, Section (20) Township 11, S
  of Range 20 East and section twenty eight (28), Township 11
  South of Range 21 East containing four thousand four
  hundred, and three 2/100 (4403 2/100) acres more or less.
      To have and to hold the same to them the said Piedmont
  and Arlington Life Insurance Company their successors in office
  and assigns.  And I hereby warrant and defend unto the afore
  said Piedmont and Arlington Life Insurance Co the before men
  tioned & described lands against myself my heirs executors and
  administrators and against all persons lawfully claiming or
  to claim the same.
     In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
