these presents doth grant, bargain and sell unto the said George
W. Sparkman the following described tract or parcel of land sit-
uated lying and being in the "Arredondo Grant" and known and de-
scribed as follows to wit commencing at the North West Corner of
Section (4) four Township ten (10) Range twenty (20) thence South
to Robradors Corner, thence East to the run of Sweet Water Branch
thence along the Branch South within fifteen feet of D.M. Fin-
gers Corner reserving a road to the Branch along said Fingers
line distant one hundred yards within fifteen feet of Vanlanding
ham Corner line reserving a road to the Branch thence up the
Branch fifteen feet thence west to the beginning. Saving and excep-
ting that certain tract or parcel of land sold to R.L. Wilson and de-
scribed as follows: To wit: beginning at the N.W. Corner of Section
four (4) Township ten (10) Range twenty (20) running South then
(3) chains and eighteen (18) links thence East to the run of Sweet
Water Branch thence up the run of said Branch to the Section
line. thence west along said line to point of beginning con-
taining four acres more or less. To have and to hold the above
described premises together with all and singular the rights
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances unto the said George
W. Sparkman his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Wil
ber F. Rice and Mrs Fanny D. Rice his wife do covenant
with the said George W. Sparkman that they will warrant and
forever defend the same to him his heirs and assigns free from
and against the right title or claim of themselves or either of
them or their heirs and of any and all person whatsoever.
In witness thereof said parties of the first part have here-
unto set their hands and seals the year and day above written

State of Florida} Before me W.K. Cessna Judge of the County
Alachua County } Court personally came Mrs Fanny D. Rice who
being by me examinied separate and apart from her husband
acknowledged that she executed the above deed freely and volunta-
rily and without any apprehension fear compulsion constraint
from or of her said husband and acknowledged that she signed
the same for the purpose for the purpose of relinquishing all
dower or right of dower in and to said land conveyed in
the foregoing deed
