State of Florida  } This Indenture made this the thirty first day
County of Alachua } of January in the year of our Lord one thou
sand eight hundred and seventy six By & Bewween Calvin
Waits of first part and I.L. Falk & Co of second part. Witnes
seth that said Calvin Waits for and in consideration of the
sum of seven hundred Dollars to him in hand paid
by party of second part has bargained sold and conveyed and
by these presents does does sell and convey unto said party
of second part all the following described lands viz:
Beginning at North East corner of South West quarter
Section Twenty Seven Township Ten, Range Twenty Two Run
ning Thence Four acres due South.  Thence Two acres
due west.  Thence Four acres due North.  Thence Two acres
due East to point of Starting, containing in all eight
acres more or less to have and to hold the same forever together
with all and singular the tenements Hereditaments and appurtenances
thereto and furthermore agree to warrant and defend the said
party of the second part their heirs and assigns forever in the
quiet and peaceful possession of the same.
  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this the thirty first day of January One Thousand and Eight
Hundred and Seventy six

State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that I,
County of Alachua} C. Jane Waits wife of above Calvin Waits
have and do hereby release all dower or right of dower in and
to above described lands and appurtenances and further cer-
tify that said release is not from and force or compul-
sion on part of my said husband but is granted of my
own free will and accord. In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seal this the thirty first day of January
One Thousand eight Hundred and Seventy six.
