Personally appeared before me a Justice of the peace in & for
above county and state the above Grantor and testified to the same
as this deed for the purposes therein named and also the said
C. Jane Waits taken Separately and apart from her said Hus-
band testified that above release of dower was of her own
free will and accord and not from any compulsion on part
of said Husband.  In witness whereof I McKeen Carlton
hereunto set my Hand and seal this 31st Jany 1876  J.P.

State of Florida } Before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace
Alachua County   } in and for said County, personally came Calvin
Waits well known to me to be the identical person who signed
the within deed of conveyance and acknowledged signing the
same for the purposes therein expressed.
     In witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and
seal this thirty first day of January A.D. 1876

State of Florida } This Indenture made this the 22nd day
Alachua County   } of December One Thousand Eight Hundred
and Seventy five between Mary M. Gradick of the County
and State aforesaid of the first part and Edward Gradick of
the said County and State of the second part Witnesseth:
That the said Mary M. Gradick for and in consideration
of Natural love and affection together with the sum of one
dollar to her in hand paid by the said Edward Gradick
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged does by these
presents give, grant, bargain, sell and convey and deliver unto
the said Edward Gradick his heirs and assigns a certain
lot of land lying and being in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida. Known as the Gradick Homestead and
described in a deed made to Henry Gradick by George
Gillette and wife now a record in the Clerk's office of
Alachua County State of Florida (as follows) All that Piece
or parcel of land lying and being in Section twenty five
(25) Range twenty one (21) in Township ten (10) commen
cing two (2) chains East of the half mile stake running
due North to the Northern boundary line all that land
lying west of said line to the Northern boundary line of
said section containing Three Hundred and thirty five
acres more or less together with all the privileges and immunities
