County of Alachua}  Before the subscriber a Justice
of the Peace in & for said County personally came Fannie
Williams one of the subscribing witnesses to the within
who being duly sworn deposes and says that she
did see Nancy Pendarvis sign seal and deliver the
same for the express uses & purposes therein set forth

State of Florida}
Alachua County  }  This Indenture made and entered into this the 1st
day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and
seventy two between Jno R. Bevill of the County and State above
mentioned and R.H. Bevill of the same State and County. Witnesseth,
That the said Jno R. Bevill for and in consideration of the sum of Four
hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the said R.H. Bevill, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents give,
grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said R.H. Bevill, his heirs
and assigns, a certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in the
County and State as aforesaid and known and described as follows
Commencing in the town of Gainesville thirty feet from the South
East corner of J.D. Matheson's lot or place where he is now living
on Main Street, running South two and a half chains, thence
west eight chains thence, North two and a half chains thence
East eight chains to the place of beginning. Again thirty feet
from the South East corner of said lot, running South two chains
thence East one chain, thence South thirteen chains and a half
thence along the Florida Rail Road west nine and a half chains
thence North eighteen and a half chains, thence East eight chains
