Alachua County  } This Indenture made this the twenty fourth
day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and sixty two between William May of the State and
county aforesaid of the first and Stephen McCall of the same
state and County of the second part Witnesseth that for and 
in consideration of the sum of six thousand Dollars to him in
hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained alien=
ed, sold and conveyed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain,
sell alien and convey unto the said party of the second part and
to his heirs and assigns, all that certain tract of land situated
in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida, and designated
on the maps of survey and subdivision of the Grant known as
the Anodonda grant of which this a part, made by David A. Burr
and Henry Washington on the ninth day of February one thousand
eight hundred and fifty six, as section thirty one (31) Township
nine (9) Range twenty (20) containing six hundred and forty
acres (saving and excepting twenty eight acres part and parcel
of the above tract heretofore conveyed to Andrew Robb) Together
with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appur=
tenances to the said granted and described premises belonging or
in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above granted
and described premises with the remainder and remainders
reversion and reversions, Issues and profits thereof, with all and
singular and appurtenances unto him, the said party of the second
part, his heirs and assigns forever.  And the said party of the first
part and huis heirs, all and singular, the above granted and described
premises, with all the appurtenances and any part and parcel thereof
unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, and against all
and every person and persons, lawfully claiming or to claim, from
by under or in trust for him and them or any of them, and any and all
other persons whatsoever shall and will forever warrant and defend
by these presents. In witness whereof the said party of the first
part hath hereunto subscribed his name and affixed his seal on the
day and year first above written.
