County of Alachua} This Indenture made and entered into
this twenty ninth day of April one thousand eight hundred
and seventy three (1873) between James M. Hawthorn of the
State and County aforesaid of the first part and Abrilla John=
son wife of R.E. Johnson of the second part, the said Abrilla John=
son, being the daughter of the said James M. Hawthorn of the State
and County aforesaid party of the first part. Witnesseth that
the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the
natural love and affection that he hath and bears for the said
Abrilla Johnson his daughter, that is to say the daughter of the said
James M. Hawthorn, for and in consideration of the sum of seven
Dollars and fifty cents good and lawful money to the said party
of the first part in hand paid by the said party of the second
part at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said party of the first
part hath given granted, bargained, sold conveyed and confirmed
and by these presents doth so give, grant, bargain, sell convey and
confirm unto the said party of the second part, her heirs executors
and administrators, the following described lot or parcel of land
The south half of the North west quarter of of section (12) twelve,
township (10) ten Range (22) twenty two east. Also two and
half acres being in the north west corner of the South East
quarter of section (12) twelve in township (10) ten South of Range
twenty two (22) east, containing in all Eighty two and half acres
And it is understood and agreed that her husband R.E. John=
son should he be the longest liver shall never be molested or distur=
bed, but shall have free use and control of the aforesaid land so
long as he lives. To have and to hold the said aforesaid described lot or
parcel of land together with all the rights and appurtenances there=
unto belonging to her the said Abrilla Johnson her heirs and
assigns forever in fee simple, and the said J.M. Hawthorn for
himself his heirs Executors administrators will forever warrant
and defend the right and title thereunto against the claims of all
persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof the said J.M. Hawthorn
his hand and seal this the day of one thousand eight
hundred and seventy three (1873)
