This Indenture made & entered into this February 14th
A.D. 1873 between Elias Bauknight and Henrietta M. 
Bauknight his wife in this Indenture for the purpose of
relinquishing & conveying all her right of Dower in & to the
premises hereinafter mentioned also of the first part and
Susan Drucilla Barr of the second part  Witnesseth
That the parties of the first part for and in consideration of
the sum of one thousand one hundred & thirty four
Dollars to them paid the receipt of which is hereby ac=
knowledged have granted bargained & sold & by these
presents do grant bargain & sell unto the party of the 
second part & do hereby convey unto her during her life
time, after that to the children which she may leave at
her death, being the children of her & her husband, John J. Barr
all that lot or tract of land lying & being adjacent to 
the town of Micanopy in the County of Alachua & State
of Florida & bounded as follows; beginning at the North
West corner of the Lot lately owned by Dr. J.A. Stewart & now
owned & occupied by Wm Edwards & running West six &
34/100 chains to the middle of the Street in front of the house
of Mr. T.A. Stewart; thence South two & 51/100 chains to a

point, thence West five chains, thence West 14 91/100 chains to a t
set point, thence East four 40/100 chains to a set point, thence
to the section line (9) nine 11/100 chains thence East to the South
West corner of the land aforesaid, lately owned by Dr. J.A.
Steward & now owned by Wm Edwards thence North twenty
six & 52/100 chains to the place of beginning containing twenty
five acres more or less, but reserving & excepting from the said
Lot or parcel of land one acre square in the North West corner
thereof where the Baptist church formerly stood) & which is now
owned by Mrs. Caroline Johnson or a trustee for her benefit
To have & hold to the said party of the second part during her
lifetime after that the children she may leave at death by
John J. Barr as aforesaid all right, title & interest in & to the
foregoing described premises & the appurtenances thereto ap-
pertaining or against us our heirs executors &c.

affixed our seals this February 10th A.D. 1873
