This Indenture made and entered into on this the twenty third day of
October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and 
seventy six - Between the Florida Land and Immigration Company, a
body corporate under the laws of the State of Florida, party of the
first part, and Manuel Entenza of the County of Alachua and
State of Florida party of the second part, Witnesseth, That the said party of the 
first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty 00/100 Dollars
(50 00/100) lawful money of the United States of America, to it in hand paid
by the said party of the second part, at or before the ensealing and de-
livery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has
given, granted, aliened, bargained, sold, transferred, conveyed and con-
         does
firmed and^by these presents give, grant, alien, bargain, sell, transfer
remise, release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second
part, and to his heirs, administrators and assign forever all that certain
tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Alachua County
and State of Florida, and better known and described on the public
maps and records of the State as the North East quarter of the South
East quarter of section Eight in Township nine, south of Range
twenty two East; containing Forty acres more or less (NE1/4 of SE1/4 of
sec 8, T9 S R22 E, 40 acres ).
To have and to hold the above granted, bargained and described premises togeth-
er with all and singular the rights and privileges, immunities, easements
and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining, unto
the said party of the second part, and to his heirs administrators and
assigns, as their absolute property in fee simple forever.
And the said Florida Land and Immigration Company, for itself
and assigns, and for all others claiming by, through or under it does
covenant and agree, that at the time of the execution and delivery
of these presents the said Company is seized of a good and inde-
feasable fee simple to the above premises, and has good right
to convey the same, as it has conveyed the same, free and discharged
of all incumbrances and Liens of any and every nature and dis-
cription, and that the said party of the second part his admin-
istrators heirs and assigns, shall quietly and peaceably and may
at any time hereafter have, use, occupy possess and enjoy the
above described premises against all persons whatsoever law-
fully claiming the same, And that it will at any and all all
times make such covenants, conveyances and assurances at the
expense of the said party of the second part as he the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns, or counsel
learned in the law may require

         part has caused its corporate seal to be hereunto
         affixed, and these presents to be subscribed by
