with said Church and in Union with the Council thereof in the Dio=
cese of Florida
And we do moreover hereby for ourselves and for our suc-
cessors in office surrender & renounce all right of disposing of said
building, or of allowing the use of it in any manner inconsistent with
the spirit and true meaning of this Instrument of Donation, or of the
consecration hereby requested: intending hereby truly & sincerely to se-
cure the same forever to the sacred purposes aforesaid & to the use
& control of those who profess & practice the Doctrines, Principals &
worship of the said Church in the United States and in said Dioces
of Florida,
In witness whereof we the said rector Wardens & Vestrymen have
hereunto set out hands & our private seal (the parish having no corporate
Seal) at Gainesville Florida this twenty second day of April in the

In The Name of God Amen
Whereas the Rector Church Wardens, and Vestrymen of
Trinity Church of the Town of Gainesville and State of Florida
have, by an Instrument this day presented to us, appointed
and devoted a house of worship erected by them in said Gaines-
ville to the worship and service of Almighty God, The Father,
The Son, and the Holy Ghost, according to the provisions of
The Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of Aneri-
ca, In its Ministry, Doctrines, Liturgy, Rights and usa-
ges and by a congregation in Communion with said Church
And in union with the Council thereof in the Diocese of Florida
And whereas the same Rector, Church Wardens and
Vestrymen, have by the same Instrument, requested us to take
their said House of Worship under our spiritual Jurisdiction as
Bishop of the Diocese of Florida and that our successors in
office, and to consecrate it by the name of Trinity Church
and thereby separate it from all unhallowed, worldly, and
common uses, and solemnly dedicate it to the holy pur=
poses above mentioned:
