apart from her husband the said George W.A. McRae MD did then
and there make and execute the foregoing acknowledgement, her
name being with her own hand subscribed and her seal affixed

This Indenture made and entered into on this the Eighth day of
March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy
seven Between the Florida Land and Immigration Company, a
body corporate under the laws of the State of Florida, party of the
first part, and Charles W. Norton of Verbena, County of Chilton
and State of Alabama party of the second part, Witnesseth;
That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of
the sum of Fifty Dollars lawful money of the United
States of America, to it in hand paid by the said party of the
second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has
given, granted, aliened, bargained, sold, transferred, con-
veyed and confirmed, and does by these presents, give, grant,
alien, bargain, sell, transfer, remise, release, convey and
confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs
administrators and assigns forever all that certain tract or parcel
of Land situate lying and being in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida and better known and described on the public
maps and record of said State as the South East quarter of the
North East quarter of section Fourteen in Township eight, south of
Range Twenty one East containing Forty acres more or less
(SE1/4 of NE1/4 sec14 T8 S R21 E 40 a)
To have and to hold the above granted, bargained and described
premises, together with all and singular the rights and
privileges, immunities, easements and appurtenances thereunto be=
longing or in any wise appertaining unto the said party of the
second part, and to his heirs, administrators and assigns as their
absolute property in fee simple forever.
