State of Florida}  Personally appeared before me R.F. Taylor
Alachua County  }  a Notary Public in and for said state and
county Francis W. Doig wife of James Doig and Margaret E.
Robinson wife of Wm H. Robertson to me personally known
who having been first examined by me separately and
apart from their said husbands, acknowledged that they
renounced and relinquished all their right of Dower in and
to the premises conveyed in the foregoing deed made by them
and James Doig and Wm H. Robertson and dated the 30th
day of April AD 1877 freely and voluntarily and without
any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or from
their husbands and also appeared before me James Doig
and Frances W. Doig and Wm H. Robertson and Margaret E.
Robertson and acknowledged that they had executed the
said deed for the purpose therein stated

This Indenture made this fifth day of September 1876 Between
John C. Smith and Delia C. his wife of the City of Brooklyn in the
County of Kings and State of New York of the first part and Esther
Serena Haile wife of Thomas E. Haile and the said Thomas E. Haile
of Arredondo in Alachua County and State of Florida of the second
part, whereas Edward Haile by Deed dated November 11th 1871 did
convey to Asabel G. Darwin certain lands and premises to wit, that
certain tract lying and being in the County of Alachua and State of
Florida and being a portion of the Arredondo Grant and described
as follows Section No. 29 Township 10 in Range 19 containing 640
acres except certain portions amounting in all to 140 acres
which were reserved of which portion so excepted and reserved
to me in said deed described as follows to wit: "Seventy acres
of the South West part or portion of the South West quarter
Section which is reserved to and for myself the said Edward Haile
and Forty Acres which is situated in the North West portion of
the North West quarter which did belong and was surveyed
by myself to Thomas E. Haile and on which the said Thomas
E. Haile has a house and other improvements and which said
lot or portion has since been conveyed to me by the
