Alachua County   } This Indenture made this seventeenth day of
May AD One thousand eight hundred and seventy seven between
          widower
J. Crews Pelot^of the County of Manatee and State of Florida of the first
part, and Horace Tarbox of Alachua, and State aforesaid of the second
part, Witnesseth; that the said party of the first part for and in cosider-
ation of the sum of One thousand dollars, to him in hand paid by the said
party of the second part, at and before the sealing and delivery of these
presents; the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained sold
released, granted, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth
bargain sell release grant convey and confirm; unto the said party of
