This Indenture made and entered into this
30th day of April AD 1877 Between James Doig and Wm H. Robertson
and Frances W. Doig and Margaret E. Robertson wives of James Doig
and Wm H. Robertson (who join in this deed for the purpose of
renouncing and relinquishing their right of dower to the premis-
es hereinafter conveyed of the first part and John Turner
of the second part; 
             Witnesseth that the said parties of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of
         Dollars to them paid the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold and by these
presents do grant bargain and sell and convey to the party of the second
part all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of
Alachua and State of Florida described as follows, Commencing at the
South East corner of Mrs Evans lot, North seven chains and ninety seven
links to the south side of Alachua Avenue thence East to the Fla R
Rd seven chains thence south - degrees west along said R Rd nineteen
chains and thirty links to a branch, thence North - west up the run of
said branch to a stake due East of the SE corner of E. Jones, lot and
         the south west corner of      the SW corner of
due south of^Mrs Evans lot thence North to^Mrs Evans lot, thence East to the place
of commencement (All measurements more or less) containing Eight
acres more or less, all in Sec Four (4) Township ten south Range 20
East, To have and to hold to the said party of the second part his
heirs and assigns with the rights and appurtenances thereto be=
longing, and the title to the same the parties of the first part to the
party of the second part his heirs and assigns, shall and will forever
warrant and defend by these presents.

Public in and for said State and County Francis W. Doig wife of James Doig
and Margaret E. Robertson wife of Wm H. Robertson to me personally
known, who having been first examined by me separately and apart
from their said husbands acknowledged that they renounced and
relinquished all their right of Dower in and to the premises conveyed in
the foregoing deed made by them and James Doig and Wm H. Robertson
to John Turner and dated the 30th day of April 1877 freely and vol=
untarily and without any compulsion, constraint apprehension
or fear of or from their husbands, and also appeared before me
James Doig and Frances W. Doig and Wm H. Robertson and Marga=
ret E. Robertson and acknowledged that they had executed the said
