State of Florida  } Personally appeared before me R.F. Taylor a Notary Public in
County of Alachua } and for said State and County Frances W. Doig wife of James
Doig and Margaret E. Robertson wife of Wm H. Robertson to me personally
known who having been first examined by me separately and apart
from their said husbands, acknowledged that they renounced and relin-
quished all their right of dower in and to the premises conveyed in
the foregoing deed made by them and James Doig and Wm H. Robert-
son to John W. Raymond and dated the 30th day of April 1877
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion, constraint
apprehension or fear of or from their husbands and also appeared
before me James Doig and Frances W. Doig and Wm H. Robertson
and Margaret E. Robertson and acknowledged that they had execu=
ted the said deed for the purpose therein stated

This Indenture made and entered into this 30th day of April
AD 1877 between James Doig and Wm H. Robertson and their
wives Frances W. Doig and Margaret E. Robertson (who join in
this deed for the purpose of renouncing and relinquishing
their right of dower to the premises hereafter conveyed) of the first
part, and Sarah R. Barnes of the second part,
                                            Witnesseth that the parties
of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of fifty = dollars,
to them paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted
bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell
and convey to the party of the second part, all that certain tract or parcel
of land known and described in a map of Voyles Survey of 1876 as lots
3 and 4 Block 1, Range 2, of the Eastern addition to the town of
Gainesville County of Alachua and State of Florida
To have and to hold to the said party of the second part her heirs and 
assigns with the rights and appurtenances thereto belonging and 
the title to the same the parties of the first part to the party of the
second part her heirs and assigns; shall and will forever, warrant
and defend by these presents.
