Frances W. Doig wife of James Doig and Margaret E. Robertson
wife of Wm H. Robertson to me personally known, who having
been first examined by me separately and apart from their said
husbands, acknowledged that they renounced and relinquished
all their right of dower in and to the premises conveyed in the fore=
going deed made by them and James Doig and Wm H. Robertson
to Sarah R. Barnes and dated the 30th day of April AD 1877
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion, constraint, appre-
hension or fear of or from their husbands; and also appeared before me
James Doig and Frances W. Doig and Wm H. Robertson and Margaret
E. Robertson and acknowledged that they had executed the said

Alachua County   } This Agreement and contract made and en=
tered into on this 22nd day of May AD 1877 by and between William
Dixon Lewis of the aforesaid County and State party of the first part,

and Dr A.X. Illinski of the City of^St Louis in the State of
Illinois the party of the second part, Witnesseth that the said party
of the first part hath this day sold and by these presents doth bind
himself his heirs, executors and administrators to convey by deed in
fee simple absolutely to the said party of the second part his heirs
           upon the payment of one hundred and thirty dollars
executors, administrators and assigns^all that certain plat, piece or
parcel of land lying being and situated in the County of Alachua in
the State of Florida designated and described as follows to wit: Commen-
cing at a stake to be located at that point where the half mile line running
North and south dividing section Twenty two (22) in Township ten (10)
south Range Twenty (20) East intersects and enters the waters (at High

water mark) of "Paynes Prairie" thence from said stake to run^East
one hundred and sixty (160) yards thence to run North a sufficient
distance to a stake from whence a line can be extended due west
to said half mile line dividing said section Twenty two (22) and
thence south along said dividing line of section Twenty two (22) to
the place of beginning so as to form a parallelogram whose North boun=
dary line shall be in length to its southern boundary line and
whose East boundary line shall be equal in length to its west boun-
dary line and which parallelogram shall measure and full ten
acres of land the same being a part of the South East quarter of
